Early in 2020, I read an article in Outdoor Photographer Magazine by Will Dickey regarding the great photographic opportunities available around Jacksonville, Florida. I made contact with him, enjoyed our telephone conversation, and arranged to go up there from my home in Central Florida to shoot with him. Unfortunately, the pandemic hit in March, and the trip got postponed indefinitely. However, by May of 2021 things started opening up as more people received the vaccine, and I was able to make the trip. What follows are images I was able to capture from the Timucuan Ecological and Historic Preserve, managed by the National Park Service of Jacksonville and Florida State Parks.
