As a teenager, I heard Bob Dylan singing “Lay Lady Lay,” an incredible song from his album, Nashville Skyline. Since then, I have had an interest in seeing this southern city. While it has always been associated with country music, and is where many such artists have gotten their starts, the live music scene has exploded in this area in the last 5 years. Broadway is lined with bars where live bands perform, starting at 10:00 AM and running through 3:00 AM the next day. Below are photos from my tour through Broadway, The Country Music Hall of Fame, The Grand Ole Opry, The Farmer’s Market and The Parthenon.
