In 2026, I spent five days in Death Valley, California, with a group of photographers. This is the largest national park in the USA, with incredibly diverse terrain. We were able to photograph the rugged landscape, including Badwater Basin, Twenty-Mule Team Canyon, Zabriskie Point, Saratoga Springs, and Dante’s View. The highlight of the trip was camping for two nights near the Ibex Dunes. This required hiking about fifteen miles over two days to achieve the best lighting for the dunes. During one of the shoots, we captured the Milky Way at 3:00 AM! Shown below are examples of my photographic experience.
